Well, if you do, then you probably want to get more clients. And one way to do that is by learning how to write a web design proposal. A proposal is a detailed document explaining what you would do for the client and what they would pay. It is a way to show your skills and the skills of your company and help encourage new clients to pick you over other web firms. | Joining Threads A new article on the recent series on threading has been posted about the Join method of the Threading.Thread object. Threads are used when you want two processes to run independently. But sooner or later, you have to bring them back together. One of the ways to do that is with the Join method. | Instantiation and the Initialize Method All useful objects need to have a starting state. Starting from a blank slate isn't very interesting, and if Ruby didn't feature the initialize method, the first order of business after creating an object would probably be to call some initializing method.
