That man loved him some cars. Remembering Carroll Shelby Known for his high-performance AC Cobras and, more recently, his Mustang Cobras, Carroll Shelby was an enthusiast's enthusiast. In high school, my buddy Big Mike had a Dodge Charger Shelby from '84 or '85. I don't remember it being particularly fast, however. I do remember the tape Mike used to keep the lower part of the front fascia from falling over (hit a lot of curbs back then). Boy, am I glad that was a small part of Shelby's history.
