Computers From Paul Gil, your About Computers Editor I've been agonizing over which tablet to buy myself these last months. I was holding out in hopes that the new iPad would be quad core. But when Tim Cook announced the new dual core iPad, I went the other way and bought a Transformer Prime tablet instead. The new iPad is pretty slick, don't get me wrong, but Android is my choice for the next 18 months. The New iPad '3' It doesn't really have a number attached to it, but the new iPad from Apple is poised to be the new pace car for the frenzied tablet market. It's a dual core machine with a stellar display and an improved camera. It still doesn't support Flash or USB, but these devices are already selling out via pre-order.
