Screening Room Two big stories in the world of television this week, with one heavily hyped new show getting the axe just a few weeks after its debut, and another long-cancelled show--this one with a rabid fan base--eyeing its return to both the small and big screen. NBC's Comparisons to Mad Men aside, The Playboy Club, NBC's attempt at pulling themselves up from the bottom of the pit by traveling back to the '60s, didn't quite catch on with audiences. Another Season of You've been kept waiting for the long-anticipated movie announcement, but show creator Mitchell Hurwitz threw fans a curveball this week: Arrested Development may be returning for a final TV season too. Stephen King's Sequel to With the author's work on his latest Dark Tower novel finished, he's returned to Doctor Sleep, which follows an adult Danny Torrance as an orderly at a hospice using extraordinary powers to help euthanize terminally ill patients.
