From Angela Bradley, your About Programming Editor
Dear Subscriber,
Welcome to this week's edition of your About Programming Newsletter. This week we take a look at SQL server constraints. We also take a closer look at fonts. Finally we take an in depth look at loops.
Have a great week!

SQL Server Constraints
Database constraints provide you with a way to enforce business logic within your database. In this series of articles, we explore the constraints available to you within Microsoft SQL Server.

You probably think you know what a font is
Technically, what most people think of as "font" is actually a font family. Fonts are the entire combination of the style, family, size, and everything else about a typeface. But once you understand font families as they are used in Web design, you'll have a headstart in building your Web pages so that they look good no matter who is viewing them. Or at least so that the fonts will look correct.

Testing Sender
Pierre in Belgium wrote to me with an interesting question. "Sender does not seem to work as you can see with the small program I wrote especially for your guidance."

Loops, Loops, Loops
If you've worked in languages like C, you're quite familiar with loops. The 'for' loop, the 'while' loop... Actually, that's about all C has. Ruby, on the other hand, has more loops than you can shake a stick at. Really, because you can create your own loops, should you feel the need! And on top of that, in addition to the normal loops you'd expect to find Ruby has more expressive loops like upto, downto and the ubiquitous each.
