| Subaru Impreza and Ford Mustang V6 leave us with some hope in the dollars-to-value ratio game. | | Test Drive: 2012 Subaru Impreza I've said it before: Subaru is not an accidental purchase. Lots of folks go out looking to get a reliable Japanese car and could easily come home with a Toyota or Honda and never really care about the difference. But Subaru is different. You have to go out of your way (physically because there are fewer dealers and mentally because you have to remember the brand) and be OK buying a smaller brand. The 2012 model year Impreza will reward with refinement and a pretty fair price. You game? If not, check out: | Test Drive: 2012 Ford Mustang V6 Mmmm, mmm. Gimme over 300 horses, price it around $22k and throw in some killer retro action and you've got a ride I'm looking to climb into. We recently tested the V6 with performance package (around $25k) and it left Mustang Jon with an impression of great value. How often do you hear that about a sports car you can actually afford? Need more power? Try out these bad boys: | Test Drive: 2012 Range Rover Evoque I don't know if it's that I have trouble with change or that I just don't get some things, but the Evoque is a great looking ride that I can't see anyone having much use for. If you are going to buy a Range Rover, get the bigger ones. This one is small and the visibility out of it leaves a lot to be desired. But it is good looking. Maybe that's enough? If not, maybe you'll prefer one of these: | Exotic Profile: Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Wow, so Lamborghini is going to make the Sesto Elemento. OK, it's a limited run but still. And, no, it's very, very unlikely you're going to see one of these being driven. They are track-only and--here's the bigger problem--only 20 of 'em are being made.
