Baby Quilts
I can't think of a more perfect gift for a newborn than a quilt that was lovingly made for them. The parents appreciate it when they get it, a few years later the child will appreciate having a blanket that is only for them and then many years later is the thrill of passing it down to their children. I might be am getting ahead of myself here, but this summer I gave my son and his expectant wife a few treasures that were saved from when he was a baby. It brought tears to my eyes at how much they loved them.
