Greetings Programmers!

This week we are taking a look at the new product from Adobe... Adobe Edge. Next we look at Windows 8, a review of a Ruby book, and how to preload images using JavaScript.

Have a great week!

Windows 8, WPF, and the Legacy of Visual Basic
Microsoft dropped a bomb at a conference on June 1. Windows President Steven Sinofsky presided over a demo of the new Windows 8 where it was casually mentioned that applications would be developed on Windows 8 using "our new developer platform based on HTML5 and Javascript."
